A day of bhrama (or a kalpha) is equal to a period of 14 manus, and a period of one manu is equal to 72 yugas . since thursaday the begening of current khalpa (i e day of a bramha) 6 manu 27 yugas and 3 quarter yugas have elapsed before the begening of the karent kaliyuga.(ref "litarary before bharata " K S Shukla)
